What to Pack for the Florida Keys.
Driving down A1A through the Florida Keys is a classic road trip, and one I haven’t done in over a decade. We rented a convertible mustang just to make the trip down all the more fun 🙂
Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had was on a trip to Islamorada in college and I can’t wait to get back down there and enjoy some fresh catch and a rum runner at the famous Tiki Bar.
We’re going to be spending a couple of nights in the upper keys before making our way down to Key West for a night. I’m getting excited about our little getaway to close out the summer and celebrate our birthdays, and I’m in full on planning mode and thinking about what I’ll be packing in my carry-on.
Things are REALLY casual down in the Conch Republic, so all I plan on throwing in my bag are the basics; bathing suits, shorts, gauzy / cotton tops, a hat and of course plenty of sunscreen. I probably won’t even bring much make-up other than some bronzer and mascara. With a good tan you need little else!
