The power of food photography is a real thing- ever since catching a glimpse of these sour cream and chive biscuits, I’ve been looking for the right time to make them. They just look so scrumptious, don’t they?
As much as I love to cook, I am not a baker. I’m not good at it and I don’t enjoy it, but I was bound and determined to give these suckers a shot. I had never made biscuits in my life other than the kind in a tube, and believe me, these were far better. They were extremely easy to make and soooo tasty. And what better to pair them with than homemade tomato basil soup? I’m always looking for the best tomato soup recipe, so every time I find one on a food blog or Pinterest that looks good and gets good reviews, I give it a try.
This version was very good, easy to make (thanks to my immersion blender) and paired nicely with the biscuits. The biscuit recipe can be found at She Wears Many Hats and the tomato, basil and cheddar soup is from More Fruit Please.
