Hard-boiled eggs are such a great snack- they’re easy to make ahead of time and very portable. You want to cook them long enough so that the shells peel off easily, without having a dry gray yolk. Follow my directions for a perfectly cooked egg every single time.
1) Fill a medium-sized pot with 6-8 eggs
2) Fill with enough water to just cover the tops of the eggs
3) Put it on a burner on high and bring to a rolling boil. Once boiling, put a lid on the eggs and turn the heat off. Don’t move the pan, allow it to stay covered there for 10 minutes
4) Drain eggs and allow to cool.
