Updating Home Decor for Spring
Spring is here!
I’m not actually surprised by that because winter never came, but I’m still getting into the spirit! I find that it is easy to add fresh, seasonal touches to your space without spending a lot of money. Here is what I have done recently…
Pretty, spring colored towels… (these were on sale at World Market. Sign-up for their coupons!)
Fresh paint in the master bedroom…paint is such an inexpensive way to update the look and feel of a room.
We pulled down the wall vinyls that had been there for years and replaced them with simple mirrored frames to brighten up the room. (inexpensive from Target) Goal is to put some simple black and white photos in them…
It is always a little sad when I have to put my winter/holiday soaps away (for the last couple of years I have been obsessed with this scent from Williams-Sonoma), but there are plenty of spring options. I always like to keep fancy soap in my downstairs guest bathroom 🙂 This lilac blossom soap is also from World Market.
You can’t tell from the picture, but the bottle is huge and made of glass. They always have really high quality soaps in pretty bottles…
I dug out my spring candles…currently burning around here is this one by Produce Candles. The scent is rhubarb and it’s lovely. Another favorite is this cucumber citrus version from Greenmarket Purveying Co.
And of course, a wreath is another easy way to add a little seasonal fun. World Market has this one on sale for only $15.99!
