PopSugar Must Have is my favorite subscription box. Each month the editors over at PopSugar choose “must have” items in a variety of categories- home, beauty, jewelry, accessories, food, books, fitness, and much more. I have come to love many of the items I’ve received as a result.
Cost: $39.95 per month (use coupon code MUSTHAVE5 for $5 off your first box)
Here is what was inside the August box- I loved this month’s box and all totaled, the value was $200.00. 🙂
- American Colors Mediterranean Plaid Scarf ($79)
- Royal Apothic Tea Balm Firming Eye Treatment ($36)
- Pastel Best Day Ever Mug ($12)
- Happy Jackson Yay Lunch! Lunch Box ($10)
- Southern Culture Shortstacks Pancake and Waffle Mix ($8)
- Meri Meri Toot Sweet Pink Stripe Napkins ($6)
- MyYogaWorks 3-Month Trial ($45)
- Folgers Iced Café Caramel Macchiato Flavored Coffee Drink Concentrate ($5)
This American Colors scarf is really cute- it’s a light, gauzy fabric but still feels substantial. It’s 100% cotton, reversible and very comfortable. Would I pay $79 for this scarf? No. But I don’t have any plaid scarves in my collection, so I was happy to see this in the box. I also love the colors- very wearable with jeans and t-shirt. Now, why this is in an August box is completely beyond me. I certainly won’t be able to wear it for at least a couple of months. The scarf also came with a 20% off coupon to use on their website FYI.
These paper napkins are pretty- I love entertaining so these will definitely get used. Just a fun touch.
Finally PopSugar is back to fun food items! I was getting sick of the protein bars 😉 While I don’t normally eat sweet stuff for breakfast, my husband will love this and it really doesn’t have to be for breakfast I guess. In fact, maybe I’ll make these on his birthday. I’ll try to remember to snap a photo so you can see what they look like/how they turn out.
This Folgers drink concentrate makes 12 glasses of iced caramel macchiato coffee. Just add a few drops and stir. (and only 10 calories) I drink a lot of iced coffee, so I will try it out this week. I don’t normally add sugar though, so hopefully it’s not too sweet.
Kevin rolled his eyes when he saw another mug on our counter 🙂 I tend to collect cute/fun mugs, so once again, a perfect item for me! (we have zero room for more mugs)
Royal Apothic eye cream- such cute packaging, right? I love this company and have talked about them before on this blog. I have used this for the past two days and I like that it’s not greasy and it absorbs well. (how I pretty much judge all facial creams) I’m not sure if I can honestly say I can tell that it’s “firming” but I need to give it more time. Will use it up for sure. (and its paraben free)
As someone who takes lunch 3-4 days a week, this cute lunch box/container will be used. A nice alternative to plain old Tupperware! It’s pretty large too, probably not easy to tell the scale in the photo, but I think it will be perfect for my normal amount of food. I say this because sometimes these bento boxes and cute food containers are really too small to fit all your food.
This is pretty cool- a 3 month free trial to My Yoga Works. They have over 700 online videos that you can stream to your iPad, phone, laptop, etc. There are videos for various levels and amounts of time. I have been wanting to do yoga again so the timing on this is perfect. The studio I used to go to is pricey if you don’t sign-up under one of their deals, so this is such a great alternative. It’s $15 a month if you want to continue after the trial.
There you have it- my pile of goodies. I loved this month’s box- I will use everything and especially love the scarf, eye cream and yoga trial.
