Little Lace Box Subscription Box Review- June 2015

Little Lace Box

$59.99 for a box, ships every other month (it used to be monthly for $39.99) You can get an annual subscription for only $44.99 per month.

From the website:

Little Lace Box™. It’s your secret source for some of the hottest, newest, and most coveted designer items on the market that you won’t find on the shelves in your favorite trendy store. That’s because we’re dedicated to seeking out only the most talented and creative up-and-coming designers, whose products might not have even hit the market yet.

I like them because they often send things from Etsy artisans or small companies. The boxes are also usually really well curated. The theme this month was “Classy and Fabulous” (Coco Chanel) and focused on fashion/accessories to “help you make the transition to summer and maximize your wardrobe for both day and night.”

Now, on to the goodies…

DSC03954 The Packable Summer Hat by San Diego Hat Co. $28- So, I totally love this hat! I wasn’t sure of it when I first opened it, but it is so freaking clever. It is soft and rolls up easily into itself so that you can travel with it/pack it. What a fantastic idea. I have crushed hats when traveling and always hate having to carry them on the plane with me. This is perfect- roll it up, throw it in your bag and you have a light-weight stylish wide-brimmed hat/visor. This item was my favorite find in the box…I’ve worn it several times in the past week alone. I need to get my mom one of these- I think she’d love it.

Watercolor Print Silk Scarf $46- this scarf is 100% silk and the colors are really bright. It would look cute tied to a bag.

Kitsch Ring $25- this ring is exclusive to Little Lace Box. Subscribers either got a turquoise version or the amethyst. I actually like it on my finger more than I thought I would and I’ve been wearing it for the past few days.

LucyB’s Apothecary – Nail Lacquer in Starlet $13- Subscribers who received Amethyst rings received the Starlet polish, and those who received Turquoise received Premier polish. I mainly wear nudes/pale pinks so this is right up my alley. It is a perfect summer shade when you are tanned.

“Pour Some Sugar Scrub on Me” Sugar Scrub in Oatmeal, Milk and Honey $20- this sugar scrub is made by Little Lace Box and smells really good. I love using scrubs this time of year on my legs, so another useful item for me.

The total value of this box was $132. I liked this box and I will use everything in it. The hat was a great discovery, so between it and the ring I’d have paid $60 for them alone, so I’m happy. Now that this box is $60 though instead of $40, I don’t know that I will keep subscribing to it. I think it’s a good box, but there are other boxes I enjoy that offer the same amount of goods/value at a cheaper price.
