I am taking full advantage of my 3 day weekend and getting in as many work-outs as I can. I’m heading to yoga this morning with a girlfriend and I desperately need it. Long hours sitting in a chair and extra Orange Theory Fitness classes these past couple of weeks have left me stiff, sore and tighter than usual.
Many moons ago, when I was able to work-out during my lunch hour, I would do yoga twice a week. I loved how flexible and agile it made me feel and how well it helped to clear my head. For the past few months I’ve been doing it on Saturdays, and even though its only once a week, I feel that I am reaping the rewards of the deep stretching and power flows.
It perfectly offsets my Orange Theory work-outs (high intensity weight / strength training and cardio) and it starts my weekend off with a great mindset.
