Holiday Treats Perfect for Giving

I’ve been trying to think of something small and homemade to take to a few people in my office and use as hostess gifts for holiday parties that are coming up. While I want something that I can make myself and package easily, it needs to be something fairly simple. (because I am simply NOT the Martha Stewart type) Here are 5 ideas I think I’m going to explore…will post results soon!

Caramel Dipped Pears– these are gorgeous and the recipe looks easy enough that even I can handle. So many options to sprinkle them with too…a nice twist on the apple version.

Chocolate Covered Pretzels- Again, easy to make and there are plenty of ways to dip and decorate. Who doesn’t love a good sweet & salty combination?

Cream Cheese Filled Pumpkin Bread- this could easily be made into mini loaves. I think it would pair perfectly with a cup of coffee.

Easy Chocolate Fudge- like the name suggests, this recipe only calls for 4 ingredients and a few minutes to prepare. These would be cute in a little tin or wrapped in a clear bag with some ribbon.

Simple & Delicious Shortbread- shortbread is a classic cookie and surprisingly easy to make. (and with a surprising amount of butter I may add)
