Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!

What to Bring: I have to tell you, I got out easy this year- all I am responsible for are cocktails and dessert. (and nobody needs to know my gorgeous lattice apple pie is courtesy of Costco) 😉

After much internal debate on what seasonal cocktail I would make, (only kind of kidding here) I decided that this apple cider sangria was the winner. I am going to make 2 batches- one that follows the recipe and one that includes Prosecco. (it’s really more of an apple cider mimosa)

What to Wear: I always think of Joey from Friends and his Thanksgiving stretchy pants 😉 But he’s on to something- Thanksgiving attire can be tricky. It is a holiday after all and you want to look festive, yet the amount of food and drink you’re probably consuming means you’re not likely to want to wear anything too tight and restricting. Comfort is key here.

Forget form-fitting, I’m going with a flowy, loose blouse and some skinny jeans. Fun jewelry and a fur vest elevate the look just enough.

What to do with all that left-over turkey: here are some ideas for all that turkey. I also think these turkey and gravy sliders look awesome.

I’ll leave you with this article on the 10 Most Outrageous Turkey Questions the Butterball Hotline Has Ever Been Asked. Amazing.

Happy Thanksgiving- enjoy your day! xo
