Happy Spring!

spring blossoms parisHappy Spring! You can see the grass and trees beginning to bloom and I’m always amazed at how quickly it happens. This time of year I am inspired to plant my herbs- I tend to do grow them in containers and have found that the ones I use the most (and am able to growth easily) are basil, chives, mint, oregano, dill, rosemary and cilantro. Having fresh herbs on hand can turn the most simple meal into an elegant one, and using them in cocktails makes for a fun and fresh twist. (see example of that here and here)

It’s also the season for Easter candy and I’m trying my best to stay FAR, FAR away from those Cadbury mini robin’s eggs. (yummy yummy)
