Dry Skin Fix
Spring may be right around the corner, but the drop in humidity has made the skin on my legs itchy, itchy, itchy!
Sick of scratching my legs all night, I dug through my bathroom cabinet in search of a lotion that was heavier than my every day version. I was pleasantly surprised to come across a jar of First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream
. I remember getting it in a PopSugar Must Have
box last winter and threw it under my sink as I hadn’t needed it at the time. This brand has a cult following and I can see why…labeled as “intense therapy” I was expecting this lotion to be really heavy and to leave my skin feeling greasy. (a pet peeve of mine) But I was wrong- it was so incredibly soft and silky and it almost felt “whipped.” Best of all, it absorbed instantly and soothed my scaly skin. I”ve been using it every day since and have found a new staple in my morning routine.
Used to “relieve minor irritation and itching due to eczema” it is the perfect solution to dry, any-season skin. It can be used on the body or face and is free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates. More info here.
