What it is: a beauty and make-up subscription box (5-6 items; make-up, hair and skin products, nail polish, perfume, etc.) Most will be full-sized items.
Cost: $21/per month
Boxycharm is a popular box amongst the subscription box crowd- they send many full-sized products and their box value is usually extraordinary for the $21 per month price. If you want a good value box for your money- this is it. Here is a look inside the June box!
Eslor Chlorophyll Lifting Mask ($38) I love Eslor- they make some great moisturizers, but this mask is new to me. It’s a green-gel, picture below, that tightens and firms your face. You leave on until dry and then rinse off. I have to say, the smell is STRONG and I don’t love it. It’s not bad enough to stop me from using it, but it is worth pointing out.
Bellapierre Cosmetics Kabuki Brush ($30) I love getting make-up tools in subscription boxes- I can’t even tell you the last time I had to actually buy one. This feels soft and will definitely get used.
Doucce Click Click Lipstick ($24) This is a really nice, dusty rose color that works really well for me. It’s already in my purse! It is perfect for the office/every day wear.
The Beauty Crop Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream ($10) This is oil-free, lightweight, and packed with vitamin C/antioxidants. It is supposed to give you a luminous, healthy glow. I like to use highlighting creams on my cheek and brow bones. I haven’t opened this up yet thought as I already have one I’m using.
NCLA Nail Lacquer ($16) This nude hue is right up my alley 🙂 It’s in my pile to use in the next few weeks. Now that I have a bit of a tan, it’ll look great on both hands and feet.
Overall Opinion: the total value was approximately $118. That is a great deal for a box I paid $21 for. I will use everything in this box- the only thing I’m on the fence about is the Eslor mask. I’ll report back on how I like it.
