An Elevated Thanksgiving

Last Thanksgiving was an especially tasty one. Everyone departed from the normal, tried-and-true recipes and tried something just a little different. (and we didn’t even discuss this- it was happenstance)

Some of my favorites were the blue cheese mashed potatoes, roasted veggies with feta and olives, jalapeno pomegranate cranberry sauce, and a lemon poundcake/cheesecake combo.

And of course, my spiced cranberry Prosecco punch!

The entire meal was absolutely delicious and we laughed that we’d all had the same idea to explore new recipes with the hopes they would turn out well. While there is certainly nothing wrong with a traditional meal, scroll down for some ideas to put a spin on some of the classics.
